A team dedicated to transforming electric road transport

Driving urgency with purpose, scale with precision, and collaboration without compromise.

Our vision

We envision a sustainable, resilient, and profitable road transport ecosystem powered by clean energy. Through innovation and scalable solutions, we are building the infrastructure that will enable the complete electrification of European freight transport.

Our challenge

Heavy-duty transport accounts for nearly 25% of Europe's road transport emissions, making decarbonization critical for achieving climate goals. The transition to electric trucks requires reliable, high-power charging infrastructure at scale.

Our mission

Build a high-performance, cross-border public charging network that enables fleet electrification across Europe. We are committed to building the largest charging network for electric heavy-duty trucks in Europe.

What we deliver

Ultra-fast charging

High-power charging hubs designed to minimize downtime and maximize reliability for long-distance electric trucking.

Clean transport corridors

Sustainable infrastructure connecting key logistics routes across Europe, enabling seamless cross-border operations.

Smart logistics

Digital solutions and coordinated infrastructure that make freight transport more efficient, faster, and sustainable.

Our heritage

Founded in 2022 as a joint venture between Daimler Truck, TRATON GROUP, and Volvo Group, Milence was created to accelerate zero-emission road transport adoption. Our founding partners represent over 200 years of combined experience in commercial vehicle manufacturing.

Today, we operate charging hubs across 11 countries with a team of 174 employees representing 38 nationalities. We are proud recipients of the Architizer A+Award 2025 for sustainable transportation projects.
